Getting There

Follow the track along the Acton Creek for 50m. At the intersection with the Clarence Coastal Trail turn left and start heading uphill. Approximately 150m along the track, amongst sheoaks and coastal vegetation, is another intersection. Turn right and continue following the track as it zig zags up the north side of Single Hill.

A 5.3km return walk with spectacular views extending from the Coal River Valley to Dodges Ferry and beyond. The track zig zags up the north face of Single Hill to a memorial seat near the summit. Keep an eye out for the New Holland Daisy that flowers over summer.

Park in the small carpark over the bridge at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach at the end of the Esplanade. A Metro bus is available from Hobart to Seven Mile Beach.

The nearest toilet is at Lewis Park in Seven Mile Beach village. There is a shop in the village.
